Refund & Cancellation Policy

Effective September 18, 2026. Existing accepted agreements retain their terms unless changed by mutual agreement.

Setup / project fees

Setup/project fees must be paid in full before work begins. These fees reserve project capacity and cover onboarding, planning, committed time, resources and third-party expenses. Work includes project-specific preparation as well as design, development and content creation. Setup/project fees are generally non-refundable, including if you cancel before work begins, except where required by law or otherwise approved by AJH Digital.

Monthly services

Monthly services include hosting, management, maintenance, Content-Level SEO, content services and other monthly services. A client may request a refund within three calendar days of each payment, including renewals. A request does not guarantee a refund: approval and amount are at AJH Digital's discretion after reviewing work, committed resources and costs. If approved, the affected service ends when the refund is approved. Without an approved refund, cancellation stops the next renewal and service continues through the paid monthly service period. After three days, monthly payments are generally non-refundable. Unused days are not prorated. Please send cancellation and refund requests to AJHDigitalLLC@gmail.com.

Annual prepaid services

Annual prepaid services: the first service month is non-refundable, even for immediate cancellation, and every additional service month already started is non-refundable. Unused whole service months may be refunded following AJH Digital's review and approval. The potential amount is the discounted annual service payment actually paid multiplied by unused whole service months divided by 12, rounded to cents, less applicable distinct non-refundable costs and previous refunds/credits. Setup fees are excluded and remain subject to the setup-fee rule. Costs already covered by retained service months are not deducted twice. Service months are measured from the paid service period's start date; month-end anniversaries use the last valid day of the applicable month. No separate seven-day annual cutoff applies. With an approved unused-month refund, service continues through the current retained service month, then ends. Cancellation without an approved refund stops renewal; service continues through the paid annual period.

Exceptions and third-party costs

Billing errors, duplicate charges, services AJH Digital fails or elects not to provide after terminating the engagement, approved discretionary exceptions/credits and refunds required by applicable law receive separate review. AJH Digital may terminate or suspend an engagement for material breach, unlawful activity, security concerns or nonpayment; money attributable to services AJH Digital elects not to provide will be reviewed for an appropriate refund, subject to applicable law. Third-party expenses already incurred are generally non-refundable. These include domains, hosting/vendor commitments, software, licensing, APIs and other outside services. Refunds or credits never exceed the amount actually paid and still available for refund. A credit is recorded separately from money returned. This policy does not waive rights or refunds required by law.

SEO outcomes

SEO does not guarantee rankings, traffic, leads, sales, revenue, any particular search-engine outcome or a results timeline. Failure to achieve a particular result does not by itself create refund eligibility. Monthly website management and content-level SEO remain separately scoped services.

Example: a $149/month service prepaid annually with 15% savings costs $1,519.80. Cancellation in the first service month leaves up to $1,393.15 for 11 unused whole months before applicable deductions and approval. The $126.65 first month is retained; setup fees are separate.
